Master Electrician Tim Curry and his wife, Traci, formed Curry Electric in 1986, with the belief they could deliver the highest level of service while keeping customers’ costs to a minimum. They developed a set of core tenets to guide their business, including principles such as answering their own phones in the office, hiring only the most highly skilled and trustworthy technicians, and investing in continuing education.

More than 30 years later, with those core tenets still guiding the business, Curry Electric has developed a strong reputation for quality service. Many of Curry’s technicians (who are paid hourly, not on commission) are long-standing employees of the company.

As part of ensuring quality service, Curry Electric is committed to ongoing expertise, and stays up-to-date on the latest safety standards and practices. The company belongs to Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC), which provides apprenticeship training and continuing education for Journeymen. Curry also belongs to the National Fire Protection Association and the International Association of Electrical Inspectors, to participate in the code-making process itself. Tim Curry has personally authored more than seventeen changes in the National Electrical Code.

In keeping with our belief that customers should receive the highest level of service at minimum cost, we’re proud to make our pricing structure simple and transparent. We bill a set hourly rate plus any materials used, and our materials are priced at or below National Price Service levels.

On any service call, you can also ask for a 10-Point Safety Survey of your electrical system, or request a fixed-dollar estimate for added wiring.

For your convenience, we accept checks, cash and most major credit cards.

We always stand behind our products and services. We offer the following warranties:
10 year warranty on Cop-Alum parts and labor
One-year warranty on all other labor
Materials’ manufacturer warranty
All warranties are fully transferrable
Elements not covered under warranties are: acts of God, abuse, neglect, any damage covered by homeowners’ insurance, or any incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of refrigerated goods,  light bulbs, or additional living expenses. Warranties may be voided if someone other than Curry Electric services the work covered by the warranty.
Due to their susceptibility to damage from even minor power surges, GFCI receptacles and dimmers are not covered by our warranty
